Woke up about 5:30 and it was just getting light so I got dressed and went up onto the sun deck of the boat to see the sunrise - it was definately worth it! I was the only one up and I think some of the other passengers were a bit jealous a a few had expressed an interest in seeing as as the sunset was not very good the previous evening.
We then sailed to Titop (I think) island where you can climb to the top (well walk up stairs) and get a better view Halong Bay. 425 knackering steps but it was worth it.
Then, brunch before a leisurely sail back to the harbour!
On the way back to Hanoi, we stopped off at a village the specialises in pottery and we spent an hour just wandering through this very typical village, watching people back these fantastic pieces of pottery.
Got back to Hanoi about 4 and chilled in my room. I then went for a walk about Hanoi (as it was my last night) and finally plucked up courage to (a) sit at on of the little tables and get a beer and also get some of the street food. This may not seem like a lot to you but to me it was a big thing and ... well I'm still here, no dodgy tummy and after my nervousness thoroughly enjoyed it.
