Goooooooood morning Vietnam! It's 0600 hours. What does the "O" stand for? O my God, it's early!
Got up early today to pack and take a quick walk round to the lake in Hanoi to get some pictures before leaving for Hue.
And oh my god its hot - to quote Robin Williams "The weather out there today is hot and shitty with continued hot and shitty in the afternoon." I walked round the lake ... and created a new one with perspiration.
Got picked up at 10:00 to go to the airport to catch a flight to Hue. Now this is for Martin - one runway which you reach the end of, turn round and then go all the way back to the beginning to go to the taxiways. It has 1 baggage carousel!
Anyway, got picked up from the Airport by my guide and then had lunch before touring the Citadel, the Forbidden City and a budhist temple before a riverboat ride down the Perfume river to my hotel.
By the way, just to let you know .... I got upgraded to a suite - AGAIN!!!!
