I think I'm in love ...

... not with anyone but with Vietnam and in particular Hoi An.

In the evening I wandered into town to get some food and I loved it - its was very laid back compared to Hanoi with people just strolling around, stopping to having a drink or do a bit of shopping or to get some food.

Its only a small town but such a lovely place to ... well potter - you can really relax here.

I went to a restaurant that was both recommended by my guide book and my hotel called the Mango Rooms - had a lovely meal! Got a table overlooking the river - it was warm, an ice cold tiger beer and the food - it was both sweet but with a real chilli kick to it - what more could you ask for!

Ooohh - forgot to say - after my tour ended I had booked a cocktail making class in the hotel - $15 for an hour and you basically make three cocktails - Mango Tango, Hoi An Sling and Passion Mojito! Now $15 may seem a lot, but seeing as the drinks are about $5 anyway of the bar staff make them ... and you get to test them you basically get the class for nothing! Pi$$ed by 5pm!
