last one for now - going on a trip to Halong Bay in Vietnam in a minute!
went to the Jingshan park that overlooks the Forbidden City to try and get some good photos of the sheer scale of the FC but the smog - no wonder they were worried about it for the Olympics - its horrendous.
Wandered round the city for a bit and then went back to scrub up before going on the town with Steve - go the right hotel this time! Great food in this restaurant we found and then a few beers before heading back to the hotel.
Oh and I had another cr@ppy taxi today where somehow I ended up 9 subway stations away from where I was supposed to be so had to get the subway back - 2Y for any single trip (about 20p) - how good is that!
