Traveled to Vietnam on 7th November - was picked up in the hotel about 12:30 and driven to the airport to catch the flight. Nothing of real interest on the flight - no entertainment but I watched Big Bang Theory on my iPhone (Bad Fish Paradigm Belinda)
Then was picked up to be taken to Hanoi - OMG! I thought the driving in Beijing was bad but lets put it this way:
Americans pick cars for size, Italians pick cars for beauty, French pick cr@p cars, British pick cars based on their football team (which is why Martin wont have a red car) and the Vietnamese must pick it based on the horn! How can they possibly be effective when they're going all the time. Its like the boy who cried wolf - before long you ignore them.
Hotel is nice although a little small compared to the previous one. Had a walk around outside - so warm and noisy and then went for a drink in the bar and got talking to a bloke who's doing a round world trip visiting local breweries - noice!!
Bed as I have to be up early as I'm off to Halong Bay
